Impacts and Effectiveness of Assistive Technology for People with Developmental Disabilities
Tools for Life (TFL), in collaboration with Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), will provide assistive technology (AT) services to 325 participants (determined by DBHDD) and their circles of support (parent, legal guardian, or representative). AT services will include AT assessment, recommendation, training, and follow-up. As part of this service, TFL will conduct a research study to investigate the impacts and effectiveness of the recommended AT.
