Doug manages the Student Accommodations Reporting and Research (StARR) unit. The unit is responsible for three projects focusing on data collection, management and reporting specific to the support of post-secondary students with disabilities. The three projects include: SAM, a web-based SAAS application used in managing a Disability Service Office, available to colleges and universities throughout the US, the University System of Georgia’s Annual Data Collection for Services provided to students with disabilities, and C-Port, a web-based platform used by the colleges and universities participating in the CAMI (Center for Accessible Materials Innovation) Federal Grant.
