Which Application Do I Use?

Student Center

If you are a Student at a postsecondary institution receiving AMAC services, you use the Student Center.

The Student Center allows students receiving AMAC services to:

  • Check the status of alternative media orders,
  • Download electronic book files,
  • Download assistive technology software, and
  • Watch assistive technology training videos.

Students log into the Student Center using their email address and personal identification number (PIN).

NEON

If you are a Disability Service Provider at a postsecondary institution and enter student account information, you use NEON. Premium and Deluxe members use NEON.

NEON is a web-based application that allows Disability Service Providers to:

  • Manage accounts for students receiving AMAC services.
  • Order and download alternative media.
  • Download assistive technology software.
  • Check the status of alternative media orders.
  • Search the library for existing alternative media.

All Disability Service Providers who access AMAC services using NEON should receive NEON training.

NEON Lite

If you are a K-12 institution or an organization using AMAC as an Alternative Media Producer (AMP) and do not enter student account information, you use NEON Lite. Basic, Corporate, Non-Profit, and Goverment members use NEON Lite.

NEON Lite is a web-based application that allows organizations to:

  • Order and download alternative media.
  • Check the status of alternative media orders.
  • Search the library for existing alternative media.
